Members
of ex Gurkha army family reserve unit in Brunei held a program to sell momos
and collected the earning to help the landslide victim of Jure. According to
Himkala Rai from Brunei, the collection of 64 thousand and 500 rupees was
handed over to the Workers relief fund established by Central committee of
Independent Transport Workers Association of Nepal and (ITWAN) and Araniko
Route Truck Committee.
The fund
was established in Banijya Bank , Balaju Branch after the landslide claimed
life of four drivers, two conductors and their 49family members.President of
Araniko Route Truck Committee, Durga Bahadur Shrestha informed that they have
already handed over the relief fund collected in the first phase and will hand
over the money sent from Brunei and other zonal committees soon.
